David Mendoza III is a multi-award-winning author and gifted storyteller with a heart for helping others. He writes inspirational books for both children and adults, all rooted in faith and hope.
With a degree in Biblical Studies, David brings a service-driven background to his work as a retired federal law enforcement officer, Marine Corps veteran, and former pastor. He has also served as a chaplain and minister, and as part of Peer Support and Veteran Support programs.
His first fiction novel, Jed’s Journal: A Guide Left for Those Left Behind, is a fast-paced post-apocalyptic story that presents the Book of Revelation in a clear, biblically sound way for readers of all ages. David is also the author of Unleashed Redemption: A K9 Handler’s Story of Hope & Healing, an adult self-help book offering encouragement through life’s challenges.
He will release his upcoming book, The King & His Bride: God’s True Purpose for Marriage, on February 14, 2026. Designed to strengthen marriages at any stage, the book offers biblical guidance for couples seeking lasting unity.
